Today I was reminded of how grateful I am that my kids are still so healthy despite the things they have put in their mouths. Things like urine, playground equipment, snails, ants, sand, dirty shoes, fingers after playing at McDonalds, all purpose cleanser, and so so so much more. And now to add to that list, today at McDonalds (I swear we don't go there THAT much) Finlay bit off the stamen of a giant Lily. WHAT? Then a minute later, in the parking lot, I looked down and he's picking at a piece of chewing gum on the asphalt. I'm sure if I didn't catch him in time, that would have been in his mouth. And while I'm thinking of all the gross things they've done, I can't help but remember when Duncan picked up the urinal cake while on a bathroom trip with his cousin. How are these kids still alive, yet alone so darn healthy? So far Ewan has been healthy too, even after having big brothers sneezing and coughing in his face and even putting snotty fingers in his mouth. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU for HEALTH!

Last year in the church cultural hall I was working on a fun project with the relief society and I noticed a piece of candy on the floor that had obviously been there for a long time. It was partially melted to the floor! Ginger had come out from the babysitting room, I looked at her noticed she was eating candy, asked where she got it, she answered with some vague answer, I looked at the spot on the ground where the candy should be but it was gone. I knew where ginger had found her candy! Yuck! Yes it is amazing our children are alive! Thank you health!
So, so, so fun seeing you tonight! Worth every minute of driving to spend a few precious hours together. We love you guys! Hope you have a safe drive home.
