Yes, I am grateful Dunks got the stomach flu and threw up all night. I would be a lot more grateful if I didn't have to clean it up but that's not the point. The point is, I was forced to stay inside my house most of the day rather than lounge outside in a camping chair avoiding stuff at home. As a result I got lots of big laundry done...you know...sheets and blankets stuff. I also managed to finally put Finn's clothes away (thank you Duncan for emptying all the contents of Finn's dresser onto the floor) . I even got my maternity clothes gathered...not put away but at least not taking up valuable closet space. Anyway... Duncan, I'm sorry you were so sick last night but thank you for sleeping until 11am, followed by hours of Curious George. You're the best =)

Big Brother Stuff
multipurpose breast pump
this look says it all...
Finn...i'm afraid this is just the beginning.
doing his favorite thing, "buggin'" Finn (his words, not mine)
Today,I was holding Finn on my lap when Duncan came up and started sticking his face in Finn's , as always. But then he looks at him and says, "Mom, Finn has a weird chin." Ha ha...O-K?. By the way, Finn doesn't have a weird chin, but he does have a cute little cleft.

"What's Finn Doing?"
So, I probably hear, "What's Finn doing?" about 20 + times a day. My answers don't really vary. Still, every time I'm nursing him Duncan will come up and watch us then ask his favorite question. Also, Duncan apparently speaks baby because every time Finlay cries, Duncan tells me what he needs.
"Finn's hungry, Mom." "Finn wants you to put him in his chair." "Finn doesn't like to drive." and my favorite..."Finn has a bubble in his tummy...he needs to burp it out."
So, I you can see Duncan is very interested in Finn and has told me spontaneously, "I love Finn." But it's not all hugs and kisses. He is definitely acting out a lot more. Today, he seemed depressed even. I think he may just be sick, but it was really hard to watch him be sooo gloomy all day. We were coloring and we was "drawing", when all the sudden he got super sad and said, "I'm not the best drawer," and then he said, "I'm a bad drawer," and put his head on the table. Sad, huh? Lets hope it's an ear infection and nothing more significant.
