So, I probably hear, "What's Finn doing?" about 20 + times a day. My answers don't really vary. Still, every time I'm nursing him Duncan will come up and watch us then ask his favorite question. Also, Duncan apparently speaks baby because every time Finlay cries, Duncan tells me what he needs.
"Finn's hungry, Mom." "Finn wants you to put him in his chair." "Finn doesn't like to drive." and my favorite..."Finn has a bubble in his tummy...he needs to burp it out."
So, I you can see Duncan is very interested in Finn and has told me spontaneously, "I love Finn." But it's not all hugs and kisses. He is definitely acting out a lot more. Today, he seemed depressed even. I think he may just be sick, but it was really hard to watch him be sooo gloomy all day. We were coloring and we was "drawing", when all the sudden he got super sad and said, "I'm not the best drawer," and then he said, "I'm a bad drawer," and put his head on the table. Sad, huh? Lets hope it's an ear infection and nothing more significant.

That is so cute that Duncan is interested in Finn. Sam couldn't care less about James. He too acts out and now wants to be carried everywhere, me to lay with him more, cuddle on the couch...it's an adjustment time for them, but it sounds like he'll be fine. You are a good mom and he will adjust. Like my mom said, "the best thing for a kid is a sibling." Soon he'll like not being the only one, especially when Finn becomes his playmate. (I'm not exactly sure when that is because James is still just a bother to Sam).
So sweet! I hope I get a boy next.
Oh my goodness! Duncan thinking he is a bad artist was the saddest thing I've heard all day! Poor little guy.
I hope he feels better!
