Some Darn Close Misses!

Wow, Duncan, I think you just about got one in the hole there on your face. Well, at least it keeps him occupied for a few minutes.

Spring in Utah.......YUCK!!

So whatever happened to the 4 seasons?? Isn't that supposed to be one of Utah's selling features? It seems like we just go from summer to winter and from winter to summer these days. I happen to love those transition seasons... what are those called again?? Oh yeah...spring and fall. I think snow in the middle of April is like someone tacking on an extra mile just as you're about to finish a marathon...And let me tell ya...this winter has been a marathon. SOOooo...maybe since spring is taking so long to get here, summer can take its sweet time rolling in as well =) (Why can't it just be 75 with a nice ocean breeze all year long? Well I guess it could be, I'd just have to give up a few valuable limbs) .

So many choices...

So I've been looking through blog layouts for like the past hour trying to decide which route we (more like I) should take our (more like my) blog. I tried to keep Jimmy happy by doing the whole plaid Scottish pride thing but I think I'm ready for something that reflect sME a little more appropriately. After all...I AM NOT SCOTTISH. Riley is actually Irish...the shock...the horror. I will stick with MacBlog, because I think it is cute but from this point on there will be no more plaid on this blog. Still love me honey, but until you become an active contributor, I have complete artistic control of this thing! So...I have no idea when the new look will be revealed and now I'm a little worried I built it up a bit too much. So don't expect anything great...and don't read too much into my choice.

Just a Fluke... Oh, I Hope Not!!!

Yes, this picture is adorable but there is something much more significant here. This photo was taken on the very day that Duncan decided to let Mom sleep completely through the night. That's right...not a peep. He slept from 8pm to 8am. So my advice to all those sleepless moms...Don't be afraid to fast and pray for you kid to sleep =)

*It might have been a fluke. He woke up at 4am last night, but hey, I can live with that!
